Oberg Rejoins Rockies; Musgrave Sent Back to Albuquerque

ATLANTA – Right-handed reliever Scott Oberg rejoined the Rockies on Friday after a three-day paternity leave. Left-handed reliever Harrison Musgrave was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Oberg.

The Rockies opted to retain infielder Garrett Hampson, who was called up when Oberg went on paternity leave. The Rockies, however, will have to make another roster move on Saturday when Antonio Senzatela is activated from the disabled list to start Game 3 of the series in Atlanta.

 Oberg, 28,  is 7-0 with a 3.12 ERA, 10 walks and 29 strikeouts in  34 2/3 innings during 35 appearances.

Musgrave, 26, is 1-3 with a 5.08 ERA, 17 walks and 23 strikeouts in 33 2/3 innings over 24 appearances in two stints with the Rockies this season.
