Monday By Comparison: Trevor Becoming Quite the Story

Rockies shortstop Trevor Story goes into the two-game visit to Anaheim for the Rockies series against the Angels needing one stolen base to become the seventh shortstop, age 25 or younger, to hit 20 home runs and steal 20 bases in a season -- the second Rockies shortstop.

Troy Tulowitzki had 32 home runs and 20 stolen bases in his age-24 season in 2009. Hanley Ramirez had three such seasons with the Marlins (2007, 2008 and 2009), and Alex Rodriguez did it three times with the Mariners (1997, 1998 and1999).

Story goes into the Angels series with 26 home runs and 19 stolen bases.
