The Rockies have the best record in the National League in one-run games,  .622 winning percentage that is one point better than the Braves. The Braves have the edge on the road, finishing at .714, while the Rockies, the only other NL team with a winning record in one-run games on the road, check in at .571. At home, the Rockies are fourth in the NL with a .688 winning percentage in one-run games at home, but the Braves are 10th, just a one game above .500 at 8-7 (.533).

The Rockies go into Sunday a half-game behind NL West co-leaders the D-backs and the Dodgers, who are playing each other Sunday. A Rockies win in San Diego will put them in second place, a half-game back of the Dodgers-D-backs winner. 

The Rockies, meanwhile, are two games back of the Brewers for the second NL wild-card spot.
