Thursday Farm Report: Weinstein Returning to Coach in Cape Cod League

Jerry Weinstein, who has served in numerous roles for the Rockies, including as a big-league coach and last year the manager of Double-A Hartford, is reportedly going to coach this summer in the Cape Cod League, where top college players fill out the rosters. A long-time college coach before joining the Rockies, Weinstein reportedly will be on the staff of the Cotuit Kettlers.

Weinstein will continue to work with the Rockies.

Two years ago, Weinstein managed in the Cape Code League, and he has managed the Israel entry in the WBC in recent years.
