So Cal Safety/Linebacker Easton Gibbs Commits To Cowboys

Strong safety/outside linebacker Easton Gibbs from Temecula (Ca.) High School becamethe second recruit to verbally commit to Wyoming football. Gibbs made the announcement on his twitter account Thursday.

"I would like to thank everyone that has offered me a chance to play for their respected universities," Gibbs tweeted. "This process has been more than a blessing. I am excited and honored to say that I will be committing to the University of Wyoming."

Gibbs, 6-1, 193, joined running back Parker Christensen of Sheridan made his commitment earier this summer.

Gibbs is rated a 3-Star talent by Rivals and 247 Sports. His initial offer came from Colorado State University-Pueblo, but he has since been offered by California-Davis and Utah State, along with the Cowboys.

A captain of the Temecula football team, Gibbs was first-tieam All Southwestern League as a defensive back the past two seasons.
