Porter: It was a great environment on the visit. I liked how friendly everyone was from the start. The coaching staff really gets to know you and treat you like family.

GoWyo.com: What kind of player are Cowboys fans going see on the floor this upcoming season?

Porter: They are going to see a player with a lot of skill that has a great attitude. I can shoot and dribble and have become a versatile player. They are also going to see an outgoing and friendly face who wants to get to know everyone off the court.

GoWyo.com: Who would you compare yourself to?

Porter: I would compare myself to Hayden Dalton. I think my abilities offensively are very similar as a big that can both shoot and handle the basketball.

GoWyo.com: What have you enjoyed about your time in Laramie so far?

Porter: I honestly have loved working out. I have also liked building my relationships with the other players and coaches.

GoWyo.com: You have been working out in the summer. How has it been?

Porter: It is helping me out so much. It has given me a strong work ethic as we get ready to start the season here in the upcoming months.

GoWyo.com: Outside of basketball what is your main hobby?

Porter: Right now I'm really concentrating on my school work and hanging out in the dorm. I like to just relax and concentrate on basketball and school.
