Down the Stretch: NL Still Looking to Decide NLC and NLW Champions

The final weekend remains a focus for National League teams, with the Dodgers trying to overtake the Rockies in the NL West and the Brewers chasing the Cubs in the NL Central. Both the Rockies and Cubs have a Magic Number of three to clinch division titles. The Cardinals also are grasping to a fading hope of the second NL Wild-Card spot, the Dodgers have a Magic Number of three to eliminate the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, all that remains to be decided in the AL is whether the Yankees will have the home-field for the wild-card game with the A’s. The Yankees Magic Number is two.
