Rams Tennis Swept by San Diego

SAN DIEGO – The Colorado State tennis team suffered only it's second loss since Feb. 3 in a 7-0 loss to San Diego at the Hogan Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon. The Rams are 8-5 this spring.

San Diego took the doubles point by winning all three matches, although courts No. 1 and 2 were tightly-contested.

The Toreros were dominant in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets. Sophomore Emma Corwin and freshman Emily Luetschwager each had lengthy singles unbeaten streaks snapped today.

The Rams will be back at it tomorrow with a match at UCSD, the 14th-ranked team in the ITA D-II rankings.

“I’m confident we will learn from today and bounce back tomorrow,” Camerota concluded.
