Prendergrast Gives CSU Golf Round 3 Push

TUCSON – The Colorado State women’s golf team recorded its lowest score of the weekend with a two-under par 286 to finish sixth in the Mountainview collegiate Invitational on Sunday.

The third round score was the third lowest of the day, behind  Illinois (283) and Missouri (282).

Four Rams carded their lowest score of the weekend on the final day, including Katrina Prendergast was a team-best three-under par 69. The junior worked to a one-under par in the back nine, recording two birdies and six pars. In the font, she had a birdie and eagled hole nine, while par’ing six holes to finish the weekend in 12th place.

Ellen Secor finished on the top of the leaderboard for Colorado State, placing tied for eighth with a two-over par 218 after tallying a 72 on the final round. Secor birdied 15 holes on the day, marking a one-over par on the back nine before working to even par on the front with a one-under.
