CSU Golfers Head Into Finals of Duck Invite In 8th Place
EUGENE, Ore. – The Colorado State men's golf team is in eighth after 36 holes of the 2018 Oregon Duck Invitational heading into the final round on Tuesday.
After finishing the Monday morning round with a 10-over 294, tied for fifth, the Rams slipped into eighth place with an 11-over part 295 in the afternoon. The Rams two-round total of 589 is 10 strokes back of Santa Clara, which goes into Tuesday's final round in first place. Host Oregon is a shot back at 589. Liberty and Oregon State are tied for third at 580 with Arizona in fifth place at 582.
Denior Max Oelfke leads the Rams with a par 142, tied for ninth among individuals. Fresman Jack Ainscough, in a tournament lineup for the first time, is tied 21st at five-over 147.
