Monday by Comparison: Story Has Something Brewin'
Trevor Story is the Brewers' pitching staff's worst nightmare. With the revision of MLB to a three-division format, teams are scheduled to play six or seven games against the teams outside their division. That, however, has not slowed down Story at the expense of the Brewers, against whom the Rockies played seven games this year.
Story had seven home runs, tied with Shawn Green for the most by a player who faced the Brewers in fewer than 10 games in a season. Story's 19 RBI are the most for a player in a season with fewer than 10 games against the Brewers. And his 1.269 slugging percentage in 2018 is second to only Green, who had a 1.522 slugging percentage in 2002.

With the Rockies 5-4, 11-inning victory against the Brewers on Sunday, they won for only the second time in their just-completed, seven-game road trip to St. Louis and Milwaukee. They, however, remain only two games behind the Dodgers and D-backs, co-leaders in the NL West.
The Rockies' 59-52 record is the third best in franchise history after 111 games, and one of only six seasons in the Rockies 26 years that they have had a winning record after 111 games.
