Rockies Cut Roster To 48 Players

SCOTTSDALE – The Colorado Rockies announced Friday they optioned right-handed pitcher Noah Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque, while infielder Adael Amador, outfielder Yanquiel Fernánez, and right-handed pitchers Angel Chivilli and Juan Mejia were optioned to Double-A Hartford.

Additionally, right-handed pitchers Karl Kauffmann, Jeff Criswell and Chance Adams; outfielder Zac Veen; and infielder Sterlin Thompson were reassigned to Minor League Camp.

 

The Rockies have 48 active players remaining in Major League Spring Training Camp, including 14 non-roster players and not including one player on the 60-day injured list. The Rockies have a full 40-man roster.
