Bud Black said Lucas Gilbreath has made big strides, and the Rockies have noticed. The Legacy High School alum was added as the 27th player on the roster for Saturday’s doubleheader against the Mets. “Anytime you make your Major League debut for the team you grew up rooting for, it’s great,” Black said. Black said the Rockies development staff “saw things the last 18 months that accelerated his development.”
