Keyon Blankenbaker admits last weekend’s second-half surge by Northern Illinois was a wake-up call for the Cowboys defense. Cowboys had to rally in closing minutes to pull out 50-43 win against Northern Illinois, which had rallied from a 42-16 deficit to take a brief lead at 43-42 on Wyoming.

He admits, “I definitely thought we got complacent. We didn’t finish out the game. We held on to win. That’s what matters.”
