— Making his first start of Spring, RHP Cal Quantrill worked two innings and allowed one run (solo home run, Elly De La Cruz) on two hits. He used 16 pitches, 12 of which found the strike zone.

— RHP Karl Kauffmann worked two scoreless innings, allowing one hit while walking one and striking out two.

— RHPs Victor Vodnik and Justin Lawrence each worked a scoreless inning.

— Angel Chivilli tossed 1 1/3 scoreless outings, picking up his second save of the Spring.

At the Plate

• SS Ezequiel Tovar was 2-for-2 with one run scored and five RBI. Tovar connected on a grand slam in the fourth inning, his second home run in as many games. Through five Cactus League contests, the 22-year-old is 7-for-11 (.636) with one double, two home runs and seven RBI.

• The Rockies plated 10 runs for their third consecutive contest to pick up their fourth win in as many days.

• 2B Brendan Rodgers (1-for-2, R, BB) has hit safely in four-straight Cactus League games, going 5-for-10 with one walk, two strikeouts and one stolen base.

• RHP Karl Kauffmann worked two scoreless innings, allowing one hit while walking one and striking out two … RHPs Victor Vodnik (1.0 IP), Justin Lawrence (1.0 IP) and Angel Chivilli (1.1 IP) also tossed scoreless outings, with Chivilli picking up his second save of the Spring.
